
LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Las Vegas will be taking one small step toward getting back to normal this weekend.
Cinemark says it will reopen some of its theaters nationwide, including some in Las Vegas, on Friday.
The company also says there will be staggered showtimes and face masks will be mandatory.
Also, the AMC Theater chain announced that some of its locations woulsd be coming back next week. Two Las Vegas AMC locations- Town Square and Rainbow Promende, will be reopening on Thursday, with reduced prices for shows.
The theaters are offering a special deal on August 20th and will roll back prices in a promotion called “Movies in 2020 at 1920 Prices” which means movie-goes will only pay 15 cents on reopening day.
