LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - There will be a coronavirus relief fund in Clark County.
County commissioners approved the creation of a COVID-19 Response Fund during a meeting yesterday.
The new fund will allow staff to distribute federal dollars provided by the CARES Act, which provides assistance to people, families and businesses impacted by the pandemic.
According to a resolution document to create the fund, "the short-term and long-term plan for expenditures from the fund will be to pay for salaries, benefits, services, supplies, and capital outlay in response to COVID-19."
