LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Clark County Commission has passed a cap on what percentage thrid party food delivery services like GrubHub and Doordash can charge restaurants to use their services.

Until yesterday, food delivery services took 30 percent of the cost of the order as commission. Restaurant owners, though glad to have the services of delivery as many are still hesitant to dine out, thought that commission was way too high.

At a meeting Tuesday, commissioners agreed with the restaurant owners, capping the commission at 15 percent for the next 6 months. Because it's termed an emergency ordinance, the Commission is allowed to revisit the issue and tweak it if deemed necessary.
