Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - People who were expecting their Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits have been kept waiting this week.

The Nevada Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation says some sort of glitch in the system has kept unemployment filers from receiving the benefits this week.

While not saying what the problem was, the agency says it’s working to fix the issue and expect that to happen within the next 48 hours. Some filers say they started to receive their benefits on Wednesday morning.
