Las Vegas, NV - Metro Police say that they believe that the fatal shooting of a man by his son on Tuesday night was a case of self defense.
Police were called to a home near Alta and Cimarron because of a dispute between the man and his adult son, but the father left the scene before police arrived.
According to investigators, when the father arrived back at the house, things started up again, and the son eventually ended up shooting and killing his dad.
Police say that the son has cooperated with investigators and, as of Thursday, has not been charged. The name of the man who was killed has not yet been released as police continue to investigate.
