The National Weather Service still has us under an Excessive Heat Warning, but it's set to expire on Friday at 10pm. The region has seen day after day of high temperatirues between 110 and 115.
Even when the Excessive Heat Warning expires, not much of a cooldown is expected. Highs are forecast to hover around the 105-107 range on Saturday and Sunday.
Clark County has activated extra cooling stations for people needing to escape the heat.
