Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Federal investigators, specifically the Bureau of Alcohol and Firearms, will be joining into looking for the cause of a massive fire that destroyed an apartment complex under construction in the southwest valley earlier this week.

The Ely at Fort Apache is a total loss, with damage estimates between 25 and 30 million dollars. Its website advertised that it would be leasing units beginning in February.

Clark County Fire and Rescue says because of the size of the blaze it’s not unusual for the feds to get involved, and it doesn’t mean there’s anything suspicious that’s been found.

No one was hurt in the fire, but some nearby apartments suffered some minor damage due to the heat from the inferno.
