Former MGM CEO Murren To Head Nevada's CV Task Force

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Governor Steve Sisolak on Sunday announced the establishment of the CVID-19 Response and Recovery Task Force, a task force to be led by retired MGM Resorts International CEO Jim Murren. 

In a statement broadcast on the Governor's Facebook page, the new task force will focus on a number of issues that Nevada faces amid the coronavirus outbreak, including a shortage of medical supplies and mass layoffs in the tourism industry, Sisolak said.

Murren announced his retirement from MGM back in February after 22 years with the company, the last 12 of which as CEO
