LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Fremont Street Experience downtown closed temporarily on Monday night due to threats.
Police say that just after 8pm, a man was asked to leave the Fabulous Las Vegas Jewelry and Gifts store, and on the way out threatened an employee.
About an hour later, police say the man came back to the shop and left again. Employees, though, found a note on top of their ATM that said a bomb was going to go off in the store.
Stores were evacuated and casinos were told not to let anyone exit to the pedestrian area of the FSE as police brought the dogs out for a good sniffing.
Nothing was found, and the threat was deemed to be false.
There's no word on whether the man who made the threats is in custody.
