A fugitive with a long criminal history is returning to some familiar territory - back to prison.   Nevada Department of Public Safety (DPS), Division of Parole and Probation (NPP), and the US Marshals Service (USMS), located and arrested Daniel Scott.

Officers conducted a protective sweep of the residence Scott was located in and observed multiple indicators of narcotic sales readily visible.  The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Narcotics Bureau, upon approval of a search warrant, conducted a search of the residence. The search yielded 19.3 gross grams (gg) of heroin, 61.3 gg of methamphetamine, 15.3 gg of alprazolam, and $20,515.00 in US currency.

Scott was transported to the Clark County Detention Center by NPP Officers and booked on violating the terms and conditions of his parole.

The LVMPD Narcotics Bureau took custody of the narcotics and currency and will adopt and rebook Scott on any new charges.
