LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is throwing one last big party before closing the doors following Super Bowl 54.
The event, called "The Last Great Party" started Thursday and will continue on into early Monday morning. The property says it will be closing for good at 3 on Monday morning.
Hard Rock opened in 1995, and part of the big deals on the final weekend is the rollback of some of the food and drink prices to what they were back in 1995. Some rock n' roll memorabilia that decorated the walls around the place will also be auctioned off. The hotel's furniture was also priced to move.
The event is a final farewell and thank you to the Las Vegas community for their 25 years of support. Billionaire Richard Branson purchased the property back in 2018 and will be replacing it with Virgin Hotels, which will open in late 2020.
