High Desert State Prison Employee Tests Positive For CV-19

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Officials at the High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs say they have their first confirmed case of the coronavirus.

The Nevada Department of Corrections' reported yesterday that an employee at the prison tested positive for COVID-19.

Health officials are working with the prison to see who has had direct or indirect contact with the employee.

The latest numbers for Nevada shows the state has 535 positivie coronavirus cases. Ten people have died, all of them Clark County residents
