LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - In response to the increasing spread of the coronavirus in South Korea, Korean Air announced on Tuesday that it would be suspending flights between Incheon and Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport.

The stoppage begins on March 9th. If all goes according to plan, the airline says it will be resuming the flight route on April 25th.

The suspension of the Vegas flight was one of many restrictions put up by the airline this week. While some flights, like the ones to McCarran, have been suspended, other routes have simply been reduced. You can get the full list here.

South Korea has seen the second-most confirmed cases of the COVID-19 coronavirus behind China since the outbreak began in late December. Recently, members of a Korean Air crew were diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.
