LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - The Losee Road-215 interchange in the northeast part of the valley re-opened to drivers Tuesday morning, meaning drivers will once again be able to get on and off the highway at Losee.
The interchange was closed in August for construction of new on- and off-ramps, and a bridge to carry Losee over the highway, which eliminated a traffic signal on the 215.
The nearby 215 and Lamb Boulevard interchange will remain closed until April due to ongoing construction.
The construction is part of the Northern Beltway improvement project, which will turn the 215 into a full freeway from North 5th Street to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks just west of Range Road. The project includes new interchanges and bridges at Losee, Pecos and Lamb, plus new medians, high-mast lighting, and drainage facilities.
