
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police have made an arrest in the case of a stabbing death of a man near an east-side bus stop two weeks ago.
Back on the night of January 15th, officers had responded to the area of Sahara and Eastern for a report of an unresponsive male laying on the sidewalk.
Arriving officers located a male who appeared to be suffering from a stab injury. The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
As their investigation progressed, LVMPD Homicide Detectives identified 36-year-old Qais Fawad as the prime suspect . Fawad was taken into custody back on January 20th and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for one count of Open Murder and Robbery.
