
LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A man is in critical condtion after a shooting involving Metro Police on Sunday night.
Officers were called out to the Sienna Suites on Boulder Highway and Russell about a resident who was being drink and disorderly.
When they arrived, investigators say the man came out of his 3rd-floor untit with a gun, which he then pointed at officers.
Police then fired shots, disabling the man. Nobody else was hurt.
The officers who fired the shots will be on paid administrative leave pending the results of the investigation. The man's identity has not yet been released.
It's the 8th officer-involved shooting in Metro's jurisdiction so far in 2020.
