LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - For the third time in recent weeks, a short term house rental has been the site of a homicide.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, Metro officers responded to a residence located in the 8800 block of Hickam Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.
Arriving officers located more than a dozen shell casings outside of a residence where a house party was taking place in a short-term rental property.
A short time later, a call was received saying that an adult male was dropped off on the sidewalk in front of Centennial Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Medical personnel arrived and transported the victim to UMC Trauma where he was pronounced deceased.
The identification of the victim as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
