
LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A lawsuit has been filed against MGM Resorts International over a data hack that happened to the company last summer.
It was revealed last week that more than 10 million guests at the companies' properties had their data breached.
Technology website ZDNet first reported the hack last Wednesday. The report said that no finacial information was compromised, but names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth were made public.
MGM Resorts says that hacking occured last summer and they quickly notfied guests that may have been affected. The company says it had retained two cybersecurity forensic firms to assist in an internal probe.
