
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Three schools in the Moapa are are dealing with confirmed cases of COVID-19. the Clark County School District said Thursday.
Several individuals have tested positive for COVID-19 at Moapa Valley High School, West Mack Lyon Middle School and Grant Bowler Elementary School.
Only the elementary school will transition to full-time distance learning, with a thorough cleaning a disinfectiong planned for all three schools over the weekend.
The outbreak comes as CCSD plans to reveal a hybrid plan to combine distance and in-classroom instructions. That plan is scheduled to be revealed at the School Board of Trustees' meeting next Thursday. CCSD schools in Las Vegas have been in full-time distance-learning mode since the fall semester began back on August 24th.
