Nevada Prisons Suspending Visitation Due To Coronavirus Fear

LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT)  --  Visitation at Nevada's state prisons is temporarily suspended due to threat of coronavirus.  I

In a social media statement yesterday, Nevada Department of Corrections stated that visitation to correctional institutions, camps and transitional housing is on hold until an unspecific date.  

Attorneys and all legal-related visiting will still be allowed, although clean-up will be required after each visit.  

The DOC says that this is only precautionary to protect staff, family members and inmates from threat of exposure.
