Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The state gaming control board released the gaming win numbers on Tuesday, and a similar pattern emerged; casinos continue to struggle with the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.

Worst off: The Strip, which was down 32 percent from the November of 2019.

Compared with 2019 figures, Nevada's overall take was off 17.75%. Clark County was down 20.54%, Laughlin down 19%, Mesquite off 7%.

Other Clark County markets didn’t fare quite as bad. Downtown was up just under 2 percent, while the Boulder Strip was up over 18 percent.

Around the state, South Lake Tahoe had a good month, with the take up almost 24% from November of 2019. Reno, though, was down 6%

Helping the overall picture: sports betting. Sportsbooks in Nevada set a record in November, winning almost 62 million on 502 million wagered.
