LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Traffic heading toward California along I-15 was snarled for hours Wednesday afternoon after a gravel hauler overturned.
It happened just before 3pm in the southbound lanes of I-15 just past St. Rose Parkway.
NHP Southern Command hasn't given a cause for why the truck flipped. The freeway in the area was closed for several hours to right the truck and clear all the rocks and debris.
The detour had traffic exiting I-15 South at St. Rose, then re-entering the freeway from the St. Rose onramp. Others took Las Vegas Boulevard south to Sloan and got onto 15S from the Sloan onramp.
The driver of the truck wasn't hurt.
