Limits on public and private gatherings in Nevada will increase from 50 people to 250 people starting Thursday.
Governor Sisolak announced the changes Monday afternoon during a press conference addressing the state's current capacity limits put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sisolak also outlined a number of other changes related to the state's response to the pandemic, including the opening of sporting events to fans in a limited attendance capacity, with social distancing and face coverings involved. UNLV Athletics put out a statement Monday, saying if approved, they would like to have fans inside Allegiant Stadium when the Mountain West Conference resumes its football season October 24.
Realtors will be able to resume in-home showings and open houses with protections in place for homeowners. The Governor promised news sometime soon on resumption of youth and recreational adult sports, and left the opening of playgrounds in the hands of local leaders.
