LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Officials say that the driver of a pickup truck that hit two kids, and killed one of them, was distracted by his GPS at the time of the crash.

On Tuesday, court documents showed that Mark Kline was distracted during the North Vegas crash that hit both 12-year-old Alexander Bush and critically injured his 9-year-old sister Charlotte while the two were walking in the crosswalk along Lone Mountain east of Losee. The two kids were leaving Somerset Academy on Friday, February 14th.

Kline is actually a neighbor of the Bush family. He cooperated with investigators immediately afterward and - while driving distracted is being cited as the reason for the crash - there's no evidence that Kline was driving impaired.
