LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Metro Police have arrested a man on robbery and kidnapping charges after a chase through the central valley on Thursday night.
Police were staking out the suspect in a neighborhood near MLK and U.S. 95. Just after 11pm, they saw the person they were looking for get into a car a drive off.
Officers attempted a stop, but the suspect took off and the chase was on.
It ended shortly afterward at Charleston and Jones when the suspect hit another vehicle. The suspect attempted to run after the crash but was picked up and arrested after a short pursuit.
None of the occupants in either the suspect's car or the car that the suspect hit were seriously hurt.
Details involving the suspect's robbery and kidnapping charges weren't made immediately available. No police were hurt.
