Nevada lawmakers are headed back to Carson City Friday for the second special session of 2020. Governor Steve Sisolak issued the proclamation late Thursday afternoon to bring back lawmakers to deal with issues like social justice, coronavirus response and voting.
The last special session which lasted for 11 days in July addressed Nevada's more than one billion dollar budget shortfall, linked to the current economic downturn caused by the coronavirus pandemic. This will be the state's 32nd special session in history.
