Governor Steve Sisolak Thursday outlined measures to deal with a projected 900 million dollar hole in the state's general fund.   In a video message, the Governor suggested a one-day furlough a month for state workers and a merit pay freeze could keep layoffs to below 50.

Sisolak says combined with the distributive school account, the deficit reaches $1.3 billion.

While there would be no changes to benefits, the furloughs would begin in July.
