Las Vegas, (NV) - Las Vegas Metro Police are investigation the death of a man in a southwest valley apartment early Friday.
Police were called to the complex in the 6100 block of Scarlet Leaf Street (Patrick/215 area) and discovered a man dead in one of the units.
Investigators talked to the man's roommate, who said the victim was acting oddly before coming after him with a knife and stabbing him several times. The man had grabbed a gun and used it against his roommate after being wounded The roommate that was stabbed is reported in serious condition.
Police believe it's a case of self-defense, but continue to investigate.
The names of the men have not yet been released
