LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Students at Doral Academy Red Rock Elementary School in Summerlin will return to class on Monday after the school was closed on Friday due to a noro-virus outbreak.
Crews spent the weekend cleaning and disinfecting the school.
Las week, the Southern Nevada Health District sent a letter to parents saying that a large number of students had been complaining about stomach issues, and that it was in the best interest of all parties to shut the school down for the day.
It should be stressed that in no way was the illness at Doral related to the coronavirus outbreak now reported in 60 countries worldwide.
