LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - One person was killed Wednesday night in a crash between a three-wheel motorcycle (also known as a trike) and a car.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes of Sahara at I-15 just after 11pm.
Nevada Highway Patrol says the wreck was caused by the driver of the trike running a red light. The driver of the car, who was making a left turn from I-15 north onto eastbound Sahara, suffered minor injuries and was cooperative with investigators on scene.
All lanes on westbound Sahara were closed for several hours for police to investigate. The name of the trike driver has not yet been released.
