
LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Saying that it's being done to comply with Governor Steve Sisolak's mask mandate, officials at UNLV Wednesday placed a ban on the use of tobacco products for the fall semester.
University officials say the ban is being put in place because smoking requires one to pull down their face coverings to do it. There's been no word on whether officals will have a similar crackdown put in place for spontaneous snacking.
The campus won't be nearly as busy as usual when classes resume in a copulle of weeks, as 80 percent will be taking online courses instead
