Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - This Saturday's UNLV-Colorado State football game in Fort Collins is off. The Mountain West Conference announced Wednesday due to positive COVID-19 tests and the resulting contact tracing within the UNLV program, the Rebels are unable to travel and participate in the scheduled game. According to UNLV Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois, there were four positives.

It's the second Mountain West game of the weekend to leave the schedule.  Utah State and Wyoming also saw their game get called off, with rising cases in the Utah State program.

"We are very disappointed to not be playing CSU this weekend but understand the circumstances," said UNLV head coach Marcus Arroyo.  "The health and safety of our players and staff remains our top priority and we are proud of the lengths everyone has gone through to play football in 2020. We look forward to playing again as soon as possible."
