A violent valley weekend; 3 shootings, 4 deaths

Las Vegas, NV (NV) - A number of shootings around Las Vegas over the weekend left four people dead and police looking for suspects in a trio of cases.

A homicide suspect remains at large after two men were fatally shot during a fight, Las Vegas police said Saturday.

According to police, officers responding to 911 calls Friday found the fatally wounded men at an apartment complex and that investigators learned that the victims were involved in a fight with an unidentified man who pulled a gun and opened fire.

The gunman then drove off from the apartment complex, according to police. The suspect was described as Black, 6-foot-4, approximately 210 pounds with long hair and wearing a dark gray shirt and blue jeans.

In the second case, one man was shot and killed at an apartment complex in the southeast. It happened Sunday morning near Vegas Valley and Man Vista. Police arrived to find a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds. Police say that though no suspect has been arrested, they say there’s no threat to the community

Lastly, one person was killed in a shooting in North Las Vegas. Police responded early Sunday to the scene near Pecos and Cheyenne and found a man and woman shot., The woman, died, the man is listed as critical. Police say they don’t believe the shooting was a random act.
