
Wynn Resorts says it extend paychecks to thousands of workers through the end of May. In a press release and video message posted to twitter Wednesday, company CEO Matt Maddox says they are continuing the regular pay in anticipation of reopening properties in Las Vegas by the end of the month.
In total, the paychecks would cover a 75-day period since the shutdown of gaming in Nevada. Maddox says there is a a 23-page plan ready to go for the doors and floors to open again, which has been asked about from leaders across the corporate world.
Wynn is also partnering with UMC to allow free coronavirus testing for all local employees, which will be starting on site Thursday and Friday.
