LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) – The Las Vegas City council is mulling over whether to lease city-owned land in the downtown area to Zappos.
The land would be leased to the company to start its eight-million dollar special events facility and public tavern.
Called the Gate Project 747 Project, it will use something residents will see right away, the shell of a Boeing 747 airplane. Zappos bought the plane back in August and drive it down to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where it’s currently housed.
