Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Drivers in North Las Vegas this week are going to have to navigate through a lengthy detour to get around a major construction project.
The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) is detouring 15 South traffic onto the westbound 215 Northern Beltway, then turning vehicles around at Lamb Boulevard, and returning along the Beltway before rejoining the interstate.
The detours happen nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. through the morning of Friday, November 6th in North Las Vegas.
The nightly traffic reroute is needed to erect falsework for new flyovers as part of the $100 million I-15/215 Northern Beltway interchange project that broke ground earlier this year.
Fisher Sand & Gravel is the general contractor.
