LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Three businesses in the Las Vegas area received citations and penalties by the state last week, according to the Division of Industrial Relations.
The OSHA citations for the week beginning on August 17th include:
Petco #1177, Warm Springs and Durango -- $8,675
Kiss Lounge & Nu Ethiopian Kitchen, 4230 S. Decatur (at Flamingo) Suite #300 -- $2,892
Newman Arms, 1801 N. Boulder Highway (s/o Sunset), Henderson -- $2,603
Two additional citations were issued to business establishments in Elko.
Overall compliance continues to improve, according to OSHA. More than 30 businesses have been fined but so far none have been forced to close.
