Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) -  Recycle your Christmas Tree this holiday season and deliver the community a gift that keeps on giving!

As part of its mission to help foster a greener future, the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection’s Recycling Program is pleased to share plenty of Christmas Tree recycling opportunities available statewide.

This holiday season, there was an increase in Christmas Tree purchases across the state. Each of these trees can serve a second life by benefiting and beautifying the environment around us. All recycled Christmas Trees will be processed into mulch and used to complete a variety of park weed abatement projects. Mulch is also available for free to area residents at select locations.

Join the Springs Preserve and the Christmas Tree Recycling Committee in giving our community a gift: Recycle your tree. Through January 15th, you can take your cut Christmas trees to one of more than 34 convenient drop sites throughout the valley, to be recycled free of charge.
