Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - The Henderson Silver Knights and the City of Henderson opened Lifeguard Arena on Water Street on Tuesday morning. The brand-new facility will serve as the practice home of the Henderson Silver Knights and a community center for Henderson residents.

To celebrate the occasion, children from Battle Born Kids took part in the first official skate, with Silver Knights head coach Manny Viveiros and select HSK players in attendance.

Lifeguard Arena in Henderson features two sheets of ice, retail space, meeting space, and team space for the Henderson Silver Knights. A full service restaurant and a coffee shop will open at later dates.

The Henderson Silver Knights retail shop at Lifeguard Arena, The Livery, will open at 10 a.m. This will be the first opportunity for fans to purchase the newly released Henderson Silver Knights jerseys.
