LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - A dispute between neighbors ended with two people dead and one under arrest Thursday night
Thursday night just after 10, police received a 911 call from 36-year-old Andrew Cote who resides in the 4400 block of Mossy Rock Court, near Rancho and Smoke Ranch..
Cote stated he had just shot his neighbors. Officers responded to the neighbors’ residence and located in the backyard an unresponsive adult male and female suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers located Cote in his residence and took him into custody without incident. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the two victims deceased at the scene.
The investigation led by LVMPD Homicide detectives determined that there had been an on-going neighbor dispute between Cote and the female victim. Earlier in the afternoon, Cote and the female victim had been involved in a verbal dispute. Later that night, Cote confronted both victims with a firearm and shot them.
Cote was transported and booked into the Clark County Detention Center for two counts of open murder. The identification of the victims as well as the cause and manner of death will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office
