The Clark County School District (CCSD) and the Education Support Employees Association (ESEA) signed a Memorandum of Agreement Thursday that will allow certain support professionals to receive pay of one and one-half times their regular pay.

“Many of our support professionals perform essential duties for CCSD students and must interact with the public,” said CCSD Board of School Trustees President Lola Brooks. “We understand we’re asking employees to go above and beyond their duties and I’m thankful we can offer them additional compensation during this time.”

Support professionals who will be provided with the additional compensation are Food Service professionals and custodians at food service distribution sites on CCSD campuses who are unable to perform their duties working from home and interact with the public.
