LAS VEGAS, NV (KXNT) - Previously, it was stated that The Salvation Army here in Southern Nevada has funding for rental and utilities assistance for those affected by layoffs and closures due to COVID-19.

Unfortunately, whatever funds had been available are now exhausted and no additional funding will be available in the foreseeable future.

According to a statement sent out by the organization says it is still providing meals on a daily basis with sack lunches to be carried out at our Lied Dining Hall at 35 W. Owens, between 1 and 2:30 p.m.  We also continue to provide night shelter to our homeless and rapid rehousing assistance to families through our Family Services program while funding is available"
