
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A suspect is under arrest after firing a gun at Metro Police officers over the weekend on the valley's east side.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, LVMPD Dispatch received multiple reports of a shooting near the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue. Arriving officers were conducting their investigation when an unknown individual shot towards them, and an officer returned fire. The suspect ran away but was not immediately located.
During the investigation, detectives were able to locate and apprehend the suspect.
This is the 19th officer involved shooting of 2020. Per LVMPD policy, the identity of the officers involved will be released after 48 hours.
