Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Both the Strip and downtown will see heavy traffic restrictions this weekend with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Running series is town for a trio of events.

The Saturday 5K race begins at 5pm and navigates roads through downtown, while the Sunday half- marathon and 10k races begin at 4:30pm.

The half-marathon heads north on Las Vegas Boulevard from Tropicana all the way to Carson, before turning runners around and sending them south to the finish line in front of the Bellagio.

Obviously, for the half-marathon, not only will the Strip be closed for the races, but all streets that cross the Strip between Sunset and Carson will see rolling closures to accommodate the runners.

In addition, exit ramps to go eastbound from I-15 to Russell, Harmon, Spring Mountain, Sahara and Charleston will be closing at 2:30p on Sunday, and will stay closed until late Sunday night.
