Many would also say “getting married”, with chapels plentiful on both the Strip and downtown.

The financial website WalletHub is out with a new study on the “Best Places to Get Married” and though they agree that Vegas is a great place to get hitched, they don’t think it’s the best.

Orlando, Florida is given that honor, with Vegas in the #2 spot.

To help couples find the most wedding-friendly destinations, WalletHub compared more than 180 of the biggest U.S. cities across 26 key indicators of cost-effectiveness, convenience and enjoyment. The data set ranges from average wedding cost to venues and event spaces per capita to wedding vendors.

Helping Las Vegas’ overall score was a top rating in the “Musicians and DJs per Capita” category, and top 10 finishes in “Bridal Shops” (8th), “Flower & Gift Shops” (8th) and “Venues and Event Spaces” (6th) per Capita.

Not helping? Cost. Sure it’s not a lot to get a quickie at the chapel, but top-heavy costs to have it done on the Strip drops Vegas’ overall ranking to 57th.
