Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Nevada had its best September on record last month, with a total gaming win of $1.27 billion. That’s a gain of 7% from September of 2022, and an 11% increase from August of 2023.
Of that total, The Las Vegas Strip’s share was $741 million.
The big Strip win offset losses in other areas, with markets like North Las Vegas, downtown Las Vegas, the Boulder Strip and Mesquite posting losses.
Events helping to boost the September win: the grand opening of the Sphere, the Raiders home opener at Allegiant Stadium, fights at both the T-Mobile and the MGM Grand Garden Arenas, and big name concerts from Adele, Lady Gaga, and the Jonas Brothers
