Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - A dusty, blustery Tuesday is in store for Southern Nevada, with high winds ushering in some of the coolest weather that the valley has seen in a couple of weeks.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for the entire Las Vegas region from 11am to 10pm on Tuesday. Parts of the area could feel gusts blowing as hard as 55mph.

A Red Flag Warning is issued when there is increased fire danger due to a combination of hot, dry conditions and high winds.

Winds should die down some in the overnight hours into Wednesday morning, but breezy conditions will remain. High temperatures on Wednesday and Thursday aren't forecast to get out of the 70s, but it's only a brief respite as the 80s make a return appearance for the weekend.
