
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – A wind-aided fire broke out at an apartment complex near UNLV Tuesday morning.
According to Clark County Fire and Rescue, they first received a call about the fire at the Sonterra Apartments on Tamarus between Tropicana and Reno just after 11am.
Gusty winds helped spread the fire, leading to a second alarm.
In total, residents of 31 units were displaced due to smoke, water, or fire damage. The Red Cross is assisting those who’ve been displaced.
What started the fire isn’t known. No serious injuries were reported.
