Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) - Two women were killed Monday morning when the car they were in slammed into the bag of a big rig on I-15 between Las Vegas and Primm.
Nevada Highway Patrol says the Honda Accord never slowed down before hitting the back of the semi in the northbound lanes of I-15 just past Jean around 7am. Both occupants in the Honda were killed. The driver of the semi wasn't hurt.
The northbound lanes of I-15 in the area were closed for several hours, forcing traffic to get off of I-15 at the Jean exit.
The names of the people who died in the crash haven't yet been released.
