
Las Vegas, NV (KXNT) – Monday morning was a deadly one on valley roads with two separate fatal crashes
The first happened just before 5am in North Las Vegas on Aliante Parkway over the 215 Northern Beltway. Investigators say an SUV was making a left turn onto 215W from northbound Aliante Parkway when they hit a large pickup that was going southbound. The female driver of the SUV was taken to a hospital but died from her injuries. The driver of the pickup was also hospitalized.
The person at fault hasn’t yet been determined as the investigation continues.
A little bit later, a 64-year-old man who was riding a bike was hit by a car on Tenaya north of Centennial Parkway. The driver who hit the pedestrian fled the scene. Police say the person, a juvenile, was found and arrested but gave no details about where he was found. Police also said that the car he was driving was stolen.
The person who was struck died several hours later from their injuries
